L’histoire tourne autour de Shôtarô Tatewaki et de Sakurako Kujô. Shôtarô est un lycéen normal au comportement sérieux. Sakurako est une très belle femme venant d’une famille riche. Cette dernière est spécialisée dans l’analyse du squelette humain. Ces deux personnes entretiennent une relation assez spéciale que Tatewaki ne sait décrire.
Cette histoire suit ces deux personnes au travers d’enquêtes.
